YWAM Pittsburgh was started in 2000 by Doug and Debi Tunney.  They have been involved in missions for the past 26 years.  In 2006 Doug and Debi started a new base in Boston. Our base is located about 30 minutes from the city of Pittsburgh on a beautiful 20 acre property.  It is an awesome place to seek the Lord and enjoy His creation.  You can check out our base by clicking here.

      Global- YWAM Pittsburgh values the input and sees the necessity of listening to the voice of God through our diversity.

      Integrity- The highest priority with decisions made in our community is the individual’s character.

      Relational- We seek to solicit funds, work in ministry, and enable others through relationship as the primary method.

     Evangelism- We recognize that the greatest way to care for an individual is to introduce them to Jesus. Therefore all our works and programs must have this as the final win.  We want to continually be on the cutting edge of missions and evangelism and must always make space for creativity and ingenuity.

YWAM Pittsburgh History and Calling

YWAM Pittsburgh is called to respond to Jesus’ command to Go and Preach the gospel. This command has compelled us to serve Jesus in this manner.

1999 The first JG

2000  JG expands to Romania Etc.

2002 The first DTS

2006 Liberia and Boston are pioneered; JG Peru;

2007 Plans begin to pioneer YWAM Lima, Peru
